Who we are
This website, www.techwedia.com, is run by TECHWEDIA LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16377191). Registered office: 915 High Road, London, England, N12 8QJ. For anything about your personal data, email hello@techwedia.com.
What we collect and why
- Contact form: your name, email address, discussion topic, budget and message. We use them only to reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible project. The form is delivered to us by email.
- Live chat: if you use the chat window, your messages and any details you choose to share are handled by our chat provider, Crisp, so we can reply.
- WhatsApp: if you contact us through a WhatsApp link, WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies to that conversation.
- Server logs: our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) to keep the site secure and running.
We rely on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or on steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract.
Cookies
The site uses cookies it needs to work and to remember your cookie-notice choice. The Crisp chat widget sets its own cookies to keep your chat session. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
Who we share it with
Only the providers that run the site for us: our web and email hosting provider, and Crisp for live chat. Some of them may process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only as long as we need them to deal with your request and for our business records, then delete them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for a copy. Email hello@techwedia.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We will update this page if the way we use personal data changes.
